Leaders and DEATH

by Tom James on 06/12/19

Let's call this: helping those we need face death with “the meaning of life.”

My older brother (90!) died last week after a life of wonderful service as a priest. Both his dying and his funeral rites were suffused with celebration and meaning through prayers and rituals, because he was a PERSON with a SOUL who spent his life constantly aware of:

-Why he was made a Person,

-Who made him a Person,

-And what his ultimate choice must be.

He decided to love and serve God by serving other Persons, in order for him to be joyful in this life and supremely happy with and in God forever, and he chose to accomplish this service with and through Jesus: the Way, and the Truth, and the Life!
